Two Fires Hit Two Locations in North Jakarta

The North Jakarta and Seribu Islands Fire and Rescue Sub-agency (Gulkarmat), successfully put out fires in two different locations, Wednesday (11/13).
No casualties and fatalities in the incident
The first incident occurred at Sukapura Islamic Hospital Canteen, Jalan Tipar Cakung, Sukapura Urban Village, Cilincing Sub-district, at around 5.12 AM. It was triggered by an electrical short circuit.
North Jakarta and Seribu Islands Fire and Rescue Sub-agency Head Rahmat Kristanto stated his party knew the fire at Sukapura Islamic Hospital from reports from residents to the command center via cell phone.
Electrical Short Causes Fire in Ciracas"We immediately deployed personnel to handle it. In total, we deployed nine firefighting units with a strength of 45 personnel," he expressed.
He explained when the first personnel arrived at the scene at 5:14 AM, the fire had already grown bigget. Then, after handling for around 20 minutes, the extinguishing process entered the cooling stage at 5:34 AM.
Besides the fire incident at Sukapura Islamic Hospital Canteen, personnel also managed to overcome the fire incident at some stalls on Jalan Pelabuhan Muara Baru, Penjaringan Urban Village.
To handle it, as many as 40 personnel were immediately sent to the scene.
"We received information about the incident from residents' reports at around 4:18 AM. After handling, we declared the extinguishing process complete at around 5:45 AM," he uttered.
"No casualties and fatalities in the incident," he closed.
